Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 March 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Reviza platform ("Platform"), including the website at reviza.co.za and the Reviza mobile applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Deepsink Partners (Pty) Ltd ("Reviza", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in the Republic of South Africa.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account on Reviza. If you are under 18, you represent that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

4. User Roles

The Platform supports multiple user roles, including Student, Teacher, School Administrator, and Platform Administrator. Each role has specific permissions and responsibilities. Teachers are responsible for the accuracy and quality of course content they create. Students agree to use course material for personal educational purposes only.

5. Course Content & Intellectual Property

Teachers retain ownership of the original content they upload to the Platform. By uploading content, you grant Reviza a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, distribute, and promote your content on the Platform and in marketing materials. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you upload and that it does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights.

All Platform branding, design, and software are the intellectual property of Deepsink Partners (Pty) Ltd and are protected by South African and international copyright laws.

6. Payments & Refunds

Paid courses require a one-time payment at the listed price in South African Rand (ZAR). All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment providers. Prices are set by teachers and may change at any time; however, existing enrolments are not affected by price changes.

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Refunds are not guaranteed and are at our sole discretion. Contact [email protected] for refund inquiries.

7. Teacher Payouts

Teachers earn a percentage of each paid enrolment as specified in the Teacher Agreement. A platform fee is deducted from each transaction. Payout requests can be made once the minimum threshold is reached and are processed to the bank account provided in your payout settings. Reviza is not responsible for delays caused by banking institutions.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Share, redistribute, or resell course content without authorisation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or Platform systems.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, download, or reproduce content from the Platform.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform.

9. Content Moderation & Reporting

We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any content that violates these Terms or is reported by users. Users may report content or other users through the Platform's reporting tools. We will investigate reports in good faith and take appropriate action, which may include content removal or account suspension.

10. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that courses will lead to specific academic outcomes. Course content is created by independent teachers and does not necessarily reflect the views of Reviza or Deepsink Partners (Pty) Ltd.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Reviza and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Reviza in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of South Africa.
