For Learners
How do I create an account?
Click "Sign up" in the top right corner, fill in your details, select "Student" as your role, and follow the prompts to verify your email.
How do I enrol in a course?
Browse courses on the Explore page, click on a course you are interested in, and click the "Enrol now" button. Free courses are available immediately; paid courses require a one-time payment.
Can I access courses on my phone?
Yes. Reviza has a mobile app available on Google Play and the App Store. You can also access the platform through your mobile browser.
What curricula are supported?
We support CAPS (NSC), IEB, and Cambridge curricula for grade 12 subjects.
How do I reset my password?
Click "Log in", then "Forgot your password?". Enter your email address and follow the link sent to your inbox.
What is a wishlist?
You can save courses you are interested in to your Wishlist for later. Click the heart icon on any course to add it. Access your wishlist from the sidebar.
How do certificates work?
When you complete all lessons in a course, you can request a completion certificate. Certificates include a unique verification number and can be shared.
Can I set study reminders?
Yes. You can set up learning reminders from the Reminders section in your dashboard. Choose daily, weekday, or custom schedules and receive notifications via push or email.
Can someone gift me a course?
Yes! Anyone with a Reviza account can purchase a course as a gift and send it to your email address. You will receive a gift code to redeem.
Can I get a refund?
Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our support team at [email protected] within 7 days of purchase.
For Teachers
How do I become a teacher on Reviza?
Register for an account and select "Teacher" as your role. Once registered, you can start creating courses from your dashboard.
How do I create a course?
From your Teacher Dashboard, click "Create a course". Follow the guided steps to select a curriculum, subject, add a title, description, and set your price.
How do payouts work?
You earn 75.00% of each paid enrolment (a 25.00% platform fee applies). Request payouts from the Wallet page once your balance reaches the minimum threshold (R50).
How do I set up my payout details?
Go to Settings and configure your banking details. You need to provide your bank name, account number, branch code, and account type before you can request payouts.
Can I edit a course after publishing?
Yes. Navigate to your course in the Teacher Dashboard and click "Manage" to update course details, add lessons, or modify pricing. Changes go through a review process.
What video formats are supported?
We support MP4, WebM, and other common video formats. We recommend MP4 with H.264 encoding for best compatibility. Videos are automatically transcoded for streaming.
Can I add subtitles to my videos?
Yes. You can upload WebVTT (.vtt) subtitle files for each video lesson from the course management page.
How do I edit a video after uploading?
Use the built-in video editing tools accessible from the course management page. You can trim or crop videos without re-uploading.
Account & Billing
How do I update my profile?
Go to Settings from the sidebar menu. You can update your name, email, password, and profile details from there.
How do I change my email address?
Go to Settings > Profile and update your email. A verification link will be sent to your new email address. Your old address will also be notified.
How do I enable two-factor authentication?
Navigate to Settings > Two-Factor Authentication and follow the setup instructions. You will need an authenticator app on your phone.
How do I manage my notification preferences?
Go to Settings to control which notifications you receive via email and push. You can toggle notifications for messages, Q&A replies, and more.
Can I switch between teacher and student roles?
Yes. If you have both roles, use the "Switch role" button in the sidebar to toggle between your teacher and student views.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > Profile and scroll to the bottom. Click "Delete account" and confirm. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Reviza School
What is Reviza School?
Reviza School allows educational institutions to purchase course access for their learners in bulk, manage members, and track learning across the school.
How do I register my school?
Click "Start with Reviza School" on the homepage, or navigate to the Reviza School page and follow the registration process. Your application will be reviewed by our team.
How does school billing work?
Schools can purchase individual courses for their learners. Billing is managed through the school dashboard. Contact us for custom pricing on bulk purchases.
Can I manage which courses my learners access?
Yes. School administrators can purchase specific courses and invite members to the school. Learners gain access to all courses purchased by the school.
